Village of Hope recently completed a literacy event, held in various schools. The
event encouraged students to read more books. Participants read books by five different
authors and readers had the opportunity to win a variety of prizes.
Bistro a popular place to eat
The Village of Hope recently opened a pay-what-you-can bistro.
The Bistro is open from Thursday through Saturday, from 11 am till 2 pm.
“Enjoy great food made in our kitchen,” said Cheryl Keddy-Scott, manager of the Village
Drop by for coffee, tea, soup or other goodies!

Easter egg hunt set for April 20
The Village of Hope is holding its annual Easter egg hunt on April 20 at their new
location at 2831 King St. (The site of the former Jordan Public School) from noon
until 3 p.m.There will be a barbecue, 10 prizes per category and a total of 15,000
